Not a Box

Antoinette Portis (2011), HarperFestival

The box comes to life as the reader sees what a simple box can become using just a bit of imagination. The rabbit shows the box can be anything and everything. The child is transported to a world where anything is possible.

I loved reading this book to my kids! It fosters creative thinking and imagination in a really engaging and unique way. The simplicity of the illustration and design really allows kids to fill in the blanks with their own creativity and imagination. It never gets old.
